What it is
Tebuconazole 25.9% EC is a triazole fungicide, in the same chemical family as hexaconazole, that stops fungal growth by blocking membrane synthesis. It is both protective and curative, and moves systemically through the plant once absorbed.
Used for
Controls rust, leaf blight, Fusarium head blight in wheat, and several seed-borne diseases. Widely used on cereals, oilseeds and fruit crops, including as a seed treatment in some formulations.
How to use
Follow the label dose and timing exactly — Fusarium head blight control in particular depends on spraying at the correct crop growth stage, not simply when disease symptoms appear. Rotate with a non-triazole fungicide across the season to manage resistance.
Safety
Check the pre-harvest interval for your crop. Wear gloves and a mask while spraying, and avoid drift onto flowering crops nearby, since triazoles can affect some pollinators.
